Wow oxymoron much?

Matthew 10:16  Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be
ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Wow oxymoron much? How odd is that statement to people like us who live in the real world. The world of meanness, selfishness, crime, immorality…. God wants me to be as harmless as a dove while hangin’ with wolves, Really?

Really. What’s the first thing you are supposed to do when a bear attacks? Ok I watch a lot to T.V. so I will tell you. Stay still.  So first be wise and know what to do, then be meek and let the will of God take over. Get it?

satan (never capitalize this word) has no power over someone who trusts God. lucifer won’t always back down from a fight but he will probably get bored and or frustrated and move on to easier unsaved targets for the time being. Don’t underestimate his intelligence; he might trick you into thinking he is gone but remember the three pigs and how he tried to fool them over and over, or little red riding hood he is disguised as innocence itself. (note: when you read these stories to your child you can always find the Godly moral of the story) Use your serpent wisdom before you let your guard down.

Please only use this lay down advice when it comes to you vs. the wolf. If you sense the devil working with a weak soul, do what you can to help and save. It is in most human nature to help others, but your new Holy Spirit filled nature must rescue a soul whenever possible.

In closing…Think, Trust, Save
