Weapons, Pausing and an old prayer made for work

Didn't have time for my daily blogs so here is my three one.

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper." - Isaiah 54:17
So the other day I needed to talk to mu hubby about multiple things, my daughters, the bills, his doc appointment, her doc appointment and i called his cell, his work and home, no one answered over and over i got angryier and angrier becuase I assumed he shut off his phone, wasnt home and whop knows why a place of business will not pick up a ringing phone. Well by the time i got home he was there and i tore into him asap.
Well guess what I was wrong, it was that old man satan again. all of the phones worked fine. kwe checked out phones and they all showed outgoing calls with no incoming calls. Weird eh? so by then the bad mood was set in. I almost drove my hubby to go to the bar which i have been trying so hard not to. So ....

Part two

I paused. I stopped alone in the kitchen and prayed. Then I took a deep breath and forced a smile and kind word as I stepped into theliving room. He stayed home, I felt better, my daughter was smiling again and it was a good night. A little Pause goes a long way.

Part three

My prayer for wrok just before I dig in... "Our Father who watches in heaven, Holy is your name, your kingdom come really soon I pray, your will be done at work as it is in heaven...no matter what they do or say to me." Amen
