Duty to Spirit

The Spirit is a gift, this is what you must do with it:

The Lord’s spirit will rest on you

a spirit that gives extraordinary wisdom,

a spirit that provides the ability to execute plans,

a spirit that produces absolute loyalty to the Lord.

You will take delight in obeying the Lord.

You will not judge by mere appearances,

or make decisions on the basis of hearsay.

You will treat the poor fairly,

and make right decisions for the downtrodden of the earth.

I tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.  ( I need this daily reminder as God has given me the gift of words, but to use them wisely is a constant battle)

Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names stand written in heaven. Do not take it for granted, but do not brag or be puffed up because you have given such grace. The last shall be first.
