We are like sheep, that's what God's Word says. And sheep will blindly, habitually follow one another along the same little trails until they become ruts that erode into gigantic gullies, so we humans cling to the same habits that we have seen ruin other lives.

Accountability- ask yourself at the end of every day or even every hour is you honored Christ in that time, with whomever you were with.

Set up a daily alarm to check yourself randomly- what are you doing now? Is it edifying?

 

Never try to help God fulfill His word.

 

And the city had no need of the sun,

Neither of the moon, to shine in it:

For the glory of God did lighten it,

And the Lamb is the light thereof.

 

Father of every heavenly light, I ask you to correct me gently as I place myself, my imperfections, failures and sins in your presence. Forgive and cleanse me by the blood of Jesus so that I might be spotless, holy, and blameless in your sights. O Lord, I don't want just to be forgiven, I want to be useful to you and your church. Please help me find my way to usefulness. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
