Be subject for the Lord’s sake  for God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.   Live as free people,   Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God. Be harmonious, sympathetic, affectionate, compassionate, and humble.   Do not return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead bless others because you were called to inherit a blessing

Because Christ, by being put to death brought you to God,

So if you happen to suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed.

What counts, therefore, is not so much what happens to us, but what we do with it.

 

There were three crosses set up on Calvary on the first Good Friday. The same event happened to three different people, but look at the different results.

 

When a tear is wept by thee, think not that God does not see; for, "Like a father He pities his children, a sigh is able to move the heart of Jehovah; A whisper can incline his ear unto thee; A prayer can stay his hand; thy faith can move his arm. Think not that God sits on high taking no account of thee. Remember that however poor and needy thou art, yet the Lord thinks upon thee. 

Go again seven times, a hundred fold if need be.
