Is God letting me down?

"'I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy'" (2 Kings 5:11-12).

So if God doesn’t answer our prayers in the way we think He should, what then? Do we blame Him? Do we blame ourselves? Is it possible it’s simply the way it should be and we should not change out level or amount of love for God? There is always a greater plan, His not ours. If he chooses for us to keep an infirmity forever, or take the life of a loved one no matter haw hard we pray for another result, we need to bless His decision. It doesn’t mean we cant grieve or feel bad. I try to always put it in perspective; even through the tears and suffering didn’t Jesus suffer and die? That stamen will not make the pain go away but maybe you can go to God knowing he really is the one who understands because He has known that pain and grief. Go to the One who knows and will in the end make you whole and in the presence of those loved ones again.
