God talks to us through the Word, and His other children. God influences and suggests paths for us to take every day; all day. God just plain has His way done in infinite ways. He is God.

What do we have? We have one way, one skill, one power. We can pray. It is the only way we can communicate in an out-going way to God. This is why prayer is so necessary if we want or need anything. God has the power but we have the direct line to that power. It is ultimately His decision but hey it’s not going to hurt to ask, right?

 There are many things he gives out for free! we just have to ask. It’s that easy folks!  It’s not like those vacation giveaways where you call the toll free number and win a trip for two to the Bahamas. I’m going to tell you now if you have never made that call, don’t bother that is totally bogus. But God, he doesn’t just make us an offer, He makes promises. Not used car promises, not promises that one man makes to another, these are God promises. The Real Deal. No scams. No tricks. No fine print at the bottom.

Here are some of the Who, What When, Where, How and Why’s I have found for prayer.

Who To: God, the Father. His very name is holy. 

Who For: God prefers you pray for others before yourself. Well sometimes I want something, so now what?  I pray for you, you pray for me. We have been doing since the beginning but sometimes we forget to give is better than to receive and in the end you always receive something for giving love by prayer. Remember the prayers of children: “God bless mommy and daddy and can I have a new puppy” Others first then yourself. As for the puppy, God’s will be done.

What: Your Father knows what you need before you ask him, so just let your heart flow. Plus….You will want to ask for protection (Satan), with thanksgiving (Did you forget the sacrifice of His Son?), in the Holy Spirit too, (aka the intercessor)

When: This is easy, God is available 24/7. No hold music, no waiting, no call transfer, or full inboxes.

Where: Enter into your inner chamber, having shut the door to the world.  Anywhere as long as your mind, heart and spirit are looking up to heaven. Go humble, forgiven and forgiving.

How: No vain repetitions, don’t be loud like the hypocrites.  Know, he is coming back, and knowing it will be His will that is done. This is the most important you must believe. No doubts..none. 

Why: Because you can.
