How to be Perfect

How to be Perfect

Webster's defines the word 'perfect' as "being complete; lacking in nothing."

I have been trying to be as perfect as Christ. Not a realistic goal when you think about it. He was the Son of God. I am just lucky (blessed) to get by. I have and will probably continue to be sometimes too hard on myself and other times I need a squashing. I guess that what my husband is for. So I need to stop using the word “perfect” in my speech and my mind. Let’s just say we are a work in constant progress.

I know I have tasted completion because I have more moments of contentment. To be content in whatever circumstance you are in is definitely a touch of completeness.

As for “lacking nothing”, ha ha “there’s the rub” as they say. Is what you think you lack what you need? I have Christ, what else do I need?
