A healthy Christian Diet

A healthy Christian Diet

A healthy state of Christianity is to be always empty in self and constantly depending upon the Lord for sustenance. To empty isn’t just letting go of the worldly selfishness but let go of your burdens also. After you are empty you must fill back up with something…

"I will meditate in thy precepts." - Psalm 119:15

 The Main Course:

Our bodies are not supported by merely taking food (the Word of God) into the mouth, but the process which really supplies the muscle, and the nerve, and the bone, is the process of digestion. It is by digestion that the outward food becomes assimilated with the inner life.

We ought to fill up on the things of God, because we get the real nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and meat that we need to live healthy Christian lives.

Our souls are  nourished by hearing, reading, marking, and learning, digesting and then… get ready…. taking all that and live it ,love it and share it.

Now for a drink:

Truth is something like the cluster of the vine: if we would have wine from it, we must bruise it; we must press and squeeze it many times. Your feet must come down joyfully upon the bunches, Dance like Lucy did.( I Love Lucy show for the younger readers) or else the juice will not flow.

After we make that awesome wine then we decide what to do with it. We become filled with the joy of the Lord. The Christian has more joy to the square inch than others have to the square mile. And guess what? There is no hangover from the joy of God.

Now for Dessert:

Wait for it…..no really you have to wait for it. Your dessert is later in heaven. Something to look forward to indeed.
