Psalm 1-Blessed be the one who doesn’t follow the advice of the ungodly, or acts like others who sin, or who is judgmental and mean to others. But blessed be the one who reads and lives in the word of God day and night.
Direct my will, teach me to pray, pray in me.
All things were made through him; and without him nothing was made that has been made.
And the light shined in the darkness
I'm sticking with God … He's all I've got left.
It's a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God.
When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence.
Bow in prayer. Don't ask questions: Wait for hope to appear.
Don't run from trouble. Take it full-face. The "worst" is never the worst.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.
Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.
Wherever there is communion that’s the church, wherever there is love there is God
To sacrifice what you are and live without belief is a fate more terrible than death
What we are is God’s gift to us, what we become is our gift to Him
I will fear no evil
Nothing is impossible with God
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together
“…take heart; your sins are forgiven….Stand up, and pick up your bed, and go to your house."
Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have.
If you are not willing to give up everything for God, You can not follow Jesus
Haste leads to poverty
Who has ever given to God that God should repay him?
Money: the trouble of getting it, anxiety if keeping it, temptations of using it, guilt in abusing it, sorrow of losing it, the question of disposing of it.
The seven last sayings of Jesus are:
Luke 23:34 - "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."
Luke 23:43 - "Truly, truly I say to you, this day you shall be with me in paradise."
John 19:26-27 - "Woman, behold your son... behold your Mother."
Matthew 27:46 - "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
John 19:28 - "I thirst."
John 19:30 - "It is finished."
Luke 23:46 - "Father, into your hands I commend your spirit."
Not one of these 7 sayings was uttered lightly.
St. Francis offered a radical example during a time when the institutional church had grown corrupt and flabby. He was a wealthy young man who took a vow of poverty and devoted himself to the poor. His motto: "Preach the Gospel at all times — and when necessary use words."
Be an imitator of God and live a life of love.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The rich and the poor have this inn common, the Lord is the maker of them all.
In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty
I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
I recounted my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.
Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me through your law.
I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws.
I hold fast to your statutes, O LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, let me think about these things. What I have learned and received, let me do; and the God of peace be with us all.
Amen.
Combative behavior is not part of Christ's plan for our lives!!!!!!!!!this mean me.
Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.”
So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
My child, receive my words,… turn your heart to understanding… seek it like silver,
and search for it like hidden treasure.
May your unfailing love come to me, O LORD
I give you thanks for all the blessings of my life
I delight in your commands because I love them.
PV3:3 Do not let truth and mercy leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
There are six things that the Lord hates,
even seven things that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes
a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that are swift to run to evil,
a false witness who pours out lies,
and a person who spreads discord among family members.
Bind them on your heart continually;
fasten them around your neck.- keep wearing the cross to remind me of the rules.—that I love
You must not have in your bag different stone weights, a heavy and a light one. You must have an accurate and correct stone weight and an accurate and correct measuring container, so that your life may be extended in the land the Lord your God is about to give you.- I have been treating my children differently even with my love. This is wrong
As in water the face is reflected as a face,
so a person’s heart reflects the person.
Pray and stay above the fray
You will not fear the terror of the night or the arrow that flies by day
Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost
Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, and persevere in prayer
Work as if for the Lord not for men
For nothing is impossible with God
If the world hates you remember it hated me first
What we are is God’s gift to us, what we become is out gift to God
To live without faith is more terrible than death
Faith is like electricity, you can’t see it but you can see the light
No matter where you are the heartbeat of Jesus is the same
Pv12
`Our Father who art in the heavens! hallowed be Thy name.
Thy reign come: Thy will come to pass, as in heaven also on the earth.
Our appointed bread give us today.
And forgive us our debts, as also we forgive our debtors.
And mayest Thou not lead us to temptation,
but deliver us from the evil,
because Thine is the reign, and the power, and the glory — to the ages. Amen.
The one who tells the truth will endure forever,
but the one who lies will last only for a moment.
because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.
Store not your treasures upon the earth, but store for yourselves treasures in heaven, For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
"It is an unfortunate thing for the Christian to become melancholy. If there is any one in the world that has the right to a bright, clear face and a flashing eye, it is the one whose sins are forgiven, who is saved with God's salvation."
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Make your feet to have straight paths of good news
But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and
acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces
from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely
he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we
did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But
he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised
for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon
him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep
have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
For as you judge, you will be judged:
It was good for me to be afflicted
so that I might learn your decrees
Better is a dry crust of bread where there is quietness
than a house full of feasting with strife.
It is better to live on a corner of the housetop
than in a house in company with a quarrelsome wife.
Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again,
O Lord, your laws are righteous, and in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
..You are the God of the lowly, the helper of the oppressed, the supporter of the weak, the protector of the forsaken, and the savior of those without hope.
…for His loyal love endures,
The Lord is our God, the Lord is one!
Love the Lord your God with your whole mind, your whole being, and all your strength.
Teach this to your children and speak of it as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, as you lie down, and as you get up.
You should tie them as a reminder on your forearm and fasten them as symbols on your forehead, Inscribe them on the doorframes of your houses and gates.
I have an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.
Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example
for you to follow in his steps. Peaceful words= peace.
Jesus was not vengeful
It’s not me, it’s you
For the Lord disciplines those he loves,
Do not return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead bless others because
you were called to inherit a blessing
Whoever speaks let it be with God’s words.
Cast all your cares on Him because he cares for you.
Know what you believe, speak what you believe, live what you believe, reap what you believe
Why are you trying so hard to fit in when you were made to stand out
When I don’t know where to begin, begin by going with going to God
A new day, a new strength, and a new joy
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Whoever speaks let it be with God’s words.
Goal- Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also praises her:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return there. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. May the name of the Lord be blessed!”
Should we receive what is good from God, and not also receive what is evil?-
When bad things happen bless God for He has saved your soul by sacrificing His only son.
"Preach the Gospel at all times — and when necessary use words."
Grant me the ultimate joy of being forgiven!
May the bones you crushed rejoice!
Create for me a pure heart, O God!
Renew a resolute spirit within me!
The sacrifices God desires are a humble spirit –
O God, a humble and repentant heart you will not reject.
"We must lay before Him what is in us, not what ought to be in us."
Pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, keep them safe from the evil one
Whatever my lot thou has taught me to say:
“It is well with my soul”
You are my forever love
From the bottom of my heart I’ll sing to You
From the depths of who I am I love You
With everything inside I’ll run to You
‘Cause all that I’ve become I owe to You
“It is well with my soul”
I've been silent instead of speaking up
Gave my advice instead of giving love
I have been unfair, faithless and unkind
I have shut my eyes just so I would stay blind
It's not what I meant to do
'Cause I want to honor you
Make me over, make me new
Make me a mirror, a reflection of you
Take me all apart
Take me to your heart and pull me closer
Oh, Jesus, make me over
Take away the pride that whispers in the dark
Take the stone out of the middle of my heart
Hidden underneath my insecurities
Is the servant that you've destined me to be
But day after precious day
I get in my own way
Make me over, make me new
Make me a mirror, a reflection of you
Take me all apart
Take me to your heart and pull me closer
Sweet savior, make me over
I am only made of your imagining
I'm dust and clay on the wind
Wash me in the river of your sacrifice
Until I'm changed, purified
Take me all apart
Take me to your heart and pull me closer
My Jesus, make me over
Make me over
-And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself
as an angel of light.
Therefore I am content with weaknesses,
with insults, with troubles, with persecutions
and difficulties for the sake of Christ,
for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
I cling to your promise, there will be a dawn
Daily- Sept
It is well with my soul.
God has right on his side. I'm the one who did wrong.
As each night watch begins, get up and cry out in prayer.
Thrill to God's Word, chew on Scripture day and night.
How well God must like you—
you don't hang out at Sin Saloon,
you don't slink along Dead-End Road,
you don't go to Smart-Mouth College.
But you, God, shield me on all sides;
You ground my feet, you lift my head high;
With all my might I shout up to God,
Real help comes from God.
Complain if you must, but don't lash out.
Keep your mouth shut, and let your heart do the talking.
Build your case before God and wait for his verdict.
Why is everyone hungry for more? "More, more," they say.
"More, more." I have God's more-than-enough,
More joy in one ordinary day
For you, God, have put my life back together.
And here I am, your invited guest— it's incredible!
Not because of me or what you have done
but because of who you are.
Lift me higher, nearer to thee,
And as I rise more pure to meet you,
Let my soul know
The blessed comfort of thy love.
You are a letter from Christ read
by everybody. Written not in ink
but in the Spirit, not on paper
but in human hearts
Selah
God will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish
It is well with my soul.
You are enough for me.
Everyone is a story, everyone has a story.
Make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge; 1:6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness; 1:7 to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love.
Because of our God’s tender mercy
the dawn will break upon us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Hallelujah!
Cast all your cares on him because he cares for you.
Be strong in your faith, because your brothers and sisters are enduring suffering, After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him belongs the power forever. Amen.
Faith drains the guilt that oppressed me, Faith replaces despondency with hope. Faith unlocks heaven’s door.
He suffered death, so that by God’s grace he would experience death on behalf of everyone… to make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings. ..so that through death he could destroy the one who holds the power of death (that is, the devil), For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through the things he suffered. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
Like sunlight burning at midnight, making my life something so beautiful.
I am not alone.
Selah
How jealous should we be of ourselves!
They will magnify the most trivial offence in the followers of Jesus. Thus will much damage be done to the cause of Christ, and much insult offered to his name. The cross of Christ is in itself an offence to the world; let us take heed that we add no offence of our own. How jealous should we be of ourselves! . Not only are we under surveillance, but there are more spies than we know of.
Then rise my soul! and soar away,
Above the thoughtless crowd;
Above the pleasures and splendours of the proud;
Up where eternal beauties bloom, and all is divine;
Where wealth, that never consumes,
And endless glories shine.
He who guards his lips guards his life,
We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident
Blessed with a weight of glory
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my cross upon you, and learn from me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart;
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my cross is easy, and my burden is light."
Be slow to speak.
I’m still here.
Do not cry out, nor raise your voice
A bruised reed you will not break,
Do not fail nor be discouraged
He is the shepherd and guardian of your soul.
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Honest cries of broken hearts
Better than a Hallelujah
A soul swollen with torrents of sorrow.
To acknowledge and confess our sins
a work so simple and yet so difficult to pride
Rather, as servants of God we rejoice in great endurance; in troubles, hardships, distresses, beatings, imprisonments, riots, hard work, sleepless nights, hunger, purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown;
dying, and yet we live on;
beaten, and yet not killed;
sorrowful, yet always rejoicing;
poor, yet making many rich;
having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
The Lord our God is the one Lord: So love
the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with thy entire mind, and with all thy strength
Our help comes from the Lord
To Pray is to breathe.
Jealousy jealousy I’m jealous of me
Not of what I am
But of what I can be
Not of who I am
But who He made me
Jealous of what I’ve been given
The gift of life
A life I am living
Jealousy, jealousy I’m so jealous of me
I want to share it
Share it with all of you
I want to carry it
Carry the cross with you
Jealous of what I received
A gift so precious
I feel so relieved
Jealousy, jealous so very jealous
I’m so jealous of me
A gift of real giving
Thank you for the life I’m living
Selah, what does it mean
Selah, what can it be
Why don’t they know
Why can’t they see
It’s the amen of every song
It’s the alleluia He sends
It’s the beat of my heart
When the sweet poem ends
Selah Selah Selah
Alleluia, Amen
Sing the sweet words
Selah Selah Selah
The sound of peace
A gentle warm wind
Every song ends with ease
Selah Selah see!
It’s the amen of every song
It’s the alleluia He sends
It’s the beat of my heart
When the sweet poem ends
Selah Selah Selah
Alleluia, Amen
Sing the sweet words
Selah Selah Selah
Other men have not your God to fly to
Stand still and see the salvation of God."
Humility and the fear of the LORD
bring wealth and honor and life.
Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun:
I saw the tears of the oppressed-
and they have no comforter;
power was on the side of their oppressors-
and they have no comforter.
And I declared that the dead,
who had already died,
are happier than the living,
who are still alive.
But better than both
is he who has not yet been,
who has not seen the evil
that is done under the sun.
"Bring them unto me." Never must we cease to pray until they cease to breathe.
No case is hopeless while Jesus lives.
We can do nothing of ourselves, but we can do everything by the help of our God
Hold fast to your dream
Faith gives us breathing room for the soul
Must have faith and holiness
Press your face to the wind if it be with Jesus
Breath of my soul
Fill me with love
Breath of my soul
Comfort me
Like the winds on the seas
Make me strong in you
I will not stand with the
Wind at my back
I will face to the gale with my Lord
To breathe is to pray
Breathe deeply
Or surely death will come
Breathing room for my soul
A place to worship you
When my heart is filled with pain
Memories that hold me back
I know I can run, run to our room
The breathing room for my soul
Where no one can hurt me
Just you and I in my room
In and out we breathe together
A quiet place for seeing
A warm home for being
Space for dealing with
What the world is stealing
My heart
My mind
But not
The breathing room for my soul
Spend the rest of your life on earth concerned about the will of God
and not human desires
I’m broken inside
broken from my core
over and over I fall
I crawl and I weep
I pray anyway
Thru the pain
Thru the tears
Pray anyway
Thru the anger
Thru the fears
Pray anyway
The hatred surrounds
Cold eyes cold hearts
Sadness and sorrow
I can’t take much more
I pray anyway
Don’t pray for me
Don’t pray for myself
Pray for them
Pray for the enemy
Pray anyway

Keep it clean, or you are soooo done
